Sustainability & The Environment

TOC GRADNJA is always committed to creating a sustainable future for Montenegro

A Sustainable Future

We all know that we are dealing with some of the world’s greatest challenges these days. We need cleaner energy. That’s why we’re building a resilient infrastructure in the face of climate change. In Montenegro we work to conserve natural resources, reduce environmental footprints and create more digital connections for all of us.

When designing and building a project, we always focus on helping them create a lasting positive legacy that includes protecting the environment, economic growth, value creation and development, and partnering and connecting with our communities.

NET ZERO

TOC GRADNJA is committed to achieving net zero emissions by 2060

We are currently in the process of setting interim targets in line with the findings of the UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change. As we get closer to our target, we aim to reduce emissions first (not offset) and then decarbonize to counter the remaining emissions.

We are also committed to aligning with our customers and working with our partners and suppliers to ensure that we and the industry achieve sustainable results.

ENERGY EFFICIENCY

As you know very well, energy efficiency is the use of less energy to do the same work or achieve the same result. We build energy efficient homes and buildings use less energy to heat, cool and run appliances and electronics.

Smart home applications in our building are for this purpose. Our projects are always LEED candidate projects. Rain harvesting, solar panels and the use of energy efficient materials are indispensable in our buildings.

Zero Waste

In all our projects and works, our priority is Circular Economic Contribution and Zero Waste.

The limited resources on our planet have pushed entire communities and countries to develop different approaches to waste management, and the Circular Economy model was eventually invented a few decades ago.

This model is an application that minimizes the waste sent to landfills that harm the environment. One way to reduce our carbon footprint and send waste to landfills is to go to Zero Waste. TOC GRADNJA is committed to participating in these Zero Waste targets of Montenegro. The equipment used in our projects guarantees both reducing waste at source and being separately recyclable (dry).

With the acceptance and approval of our customers, we aim to offer some machines that can treat organic waste (wet) and produce compost (fertilizer) to the use of residents or sell them to the market.
